Hi There! 

We're Lisa, Andy, and Dianna from left to right. Growing up, our parents worked at Thai restaurants for more than 20 years almost 7 days a week and every weekend we would go to the Thai Temple in Berkeley, California to learn Thai dancing. This was our life as Laotian Americans. We had a special upbringing where we were able to learn about the culture, dance, and cuisine of both Thailand and Laos. We've been fortunate to have preserved our heritage and we are excited to share our culture and cuisine of both Thailand and Laos to you all in Kansas City!

Nang Nang Lao Thai Catering and Pop-Up is a family-owned business. Owners, Nang Andy and Nang Dianna both have a passion for cooking Lao and Thai food, which brings you the creation of Nang Nang. Directly translating, Nang means "Miss" or "Mrs." It is a word used in Laotian and is placed in front of a female's name when addressing  her formally. Hence, Nang Andy and Nang Dianna. Nang Nang.
